With no date given to the work, it's possible to find this piece being attributed to her maiden name of Carolina Oliphant. The generally accepted meaning of 'Leal' is Heaven (with leal itself being used as a metonym for faithful, with the Land of the Leal being a synonym for the Land of the Faithful).
